Thanks from club chairman
This is just a small little letter to all the people that gave a hand in one way or another in the safe and successful running of the circuit of Munster 2012.

As you are well aware it was a hard week for all of us in the motorsport family.

As you came from the four corners of Ireland to help run the event I said I won’t get the chance to meet you and thank you in person. So I said I’d put these few lines together and hope that people well understand how grateful I am for your help and support both on the lead up to the event and on the day to be honest with out your help I would not have got to the Sunday morning never mind the Sunday evening and for this I am ever so grateful. As the year roles on and if you want a hand with your event just give me a shout and I’ll do my best to help in one or another.
Once again I thank each and every one of you and if I do meet you out there during the rest of the year I will say it in person to you.

Yours in motorsport

Kieran Ambrose Chairman Limerick Motor Club and Clerk of the Course 2012 Circuit of Munster

Thanks
Limerick Motor Club wish to say a big big thank you to everybody who helped  to run a good safe Circuit of Munster. It wasn’t easy with the weather conditions and you still came out in force to help. If any of you out there need help for your event just drop us a line and we would be happy to help.

Congratulations to Colm Murphy and his co driver Don Montgomery on taking a start to finish victory in this year’s Circuit of Munster

Final Instruction 1

Statement by Ger Cusack Club Steward 29 May2012
As of late tonight the Limerick Motor Club have received the help, support and backing from the Motorsport Ireland commission, Rallies committee and affiliated clubs to run the Woodlands House Hotel Circuit of Munster 2012 rally.

Statement by Ciaran Fitzgerald Club safety officer 30 May 2012
As you know our sport is under the media spotlight this weekend, as such, I would like to ask all people travelling to the event, be it as a competitor, marshal, spectator, service crew etc. to be as careful as possible at all times during the event. I know nobody ever goes out with the intention of being in an accident but please be that extra bit more cautious as we need this event, as a rallying community, to run as perfectly as possible which I am sure you all understand.

I would also like to ask that anyone who is free and willing to travel to help us out as a marshal,if they could please do so. If you could contact your own club and travel with them or meet at one of the meeting points above, I would be extremely grateful.

I would greatly appreciate all your care and support this weekend in anyway possible.

Statement by Ciaran Fitzgerald, Limerick Motor Club safety officer, 28 May 2012
I would like to let people know that despite the rumour after yesterday’s tragic events which have massively effected the rallying community, that the Circuit of Munster IS STILL RUNNING.

On behalf of myself and Limerick Motor Club I wish to offer my severe condolences to the friends and family of Joe and Caroline and may they rest in peace..
