Club Championship Info
To qualify to win an entry fee to the circuit of the Munster 2024. This entry does not include CPA / IRDS / or the insurance levy.
The following rules apply:
- The competitor has to be a fully paid up club member in 2023.
- Competitor means driver or Navigator.
- Available to tarmac, forestry, autocross, hill climb competitors and all
club events. - Points given out in each class based on the following points bases
- Finished highest in class gets 27 points
2nd highest finished in class gets 25 points
3rd highest finished in class gets 23 points
4th highest finished in class gets 21 points
5th highest finished in class gets 19 points
14th highest finished in class gets 1 point - Where there is a crew in the same car that are both registered for the championship they both receive the same points on finishing the event.
- 3 points will also be awarded to competitors for days done marshalling this is to include time keeping at any control i.e. service in or out or stage starts, radio operators, passage controls, parc ferma or stage set up or running stages. The competitor has to advise in ADVANCE the club chief marshal Joe O’Sullivan 0879600395 of their attendance at the event. The counting rounds for marshalling are those listed in the club marshals sign on book.
- The competitor has to make contact with the championship registrars Dan Mulcahy either by email d.m.motorfactors@gmail.com or text 0876793606 within a week of competing in an event that they want to score their points from. Contact made outside of this will not be counted and the points for this event will be forfeited. The registrar’s decision on this matter is final.
- Must attend 6 club meetings in the year and sign attendance book.
- 1 point available for finishing a club event.
- Where there is a tie in points at the end of the year it will be decided on the most maximum point’s received in the class.
