The Next Generation Rises

Christopher O’Callaghan son of Hazel and Ed received his trophies for winning the award for National Junior Karting Champion and KF3 class winner at the National Karting awards. The ceremony took place at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin, 30 November 2013.

Christopher took top place ahead of Danny Hyland by 226 points to 222

Christopher said “Glad to say that I’m a champion even though there was a small number in the group, but still it was a long year, we had good runs and some bad runs”. He also thanked the Daly family and DMS for their support during the year.

Another rising star is Liam Mulcair’s son Cathal who finished tenth in his first year competing in the Cadet class for eight to ten year olds.
