Strong Result for Wood and Moriarty
Steve Wood and Keith Moriarty took their Subaru Impreza to fifth overall in the Birr stage rally. Denis and Donal Dineen finished 65th overall and fourth in class 12.
Ciaram Fitzgerald was doing well in his first rally but sadly after five good stages engine troubles brought and end to his day. Ciaran said afterwards “Game over, engine sick.. Great day though even though we drove like a granny this morning. Big thanks to Paul Cummins on the notes and Sean, Katrina, Derek and Kay in service.. Roll on Kerry”
