Results of Autotest Saturday 1 April 2023. Winner Liam Croston. The event was round 2 of the Partsworld Munster Autotest Championship. The conditions were mixed sunshine with a bitterly cold breeze. Competition was keen with the top three covered by less than 2 1/2 seconds.
Sunday 2 April 2023 Autotest result. Winner Don Giles. The weather added to the enjoyment with glorious sunshine all day. The event had shorter tests for the Junior, Club and beginner classes. The competitors in this group were run separately from the main field to reduce distraction, this also created a great camaraderie between the seven competitors in the group. The main field result was rearranged by some minor mechanical issues, this is another area where camaraderie shows as other competitors provided parts and assistance to get the cars back on the tests. There was a very positive ”vibe” after the event with everyone looking forward to Birr & District Motor Club’s event in 3 weeks time.
